NBC’s The Voice is back this September with a new set of singers, returning coaches, and a fresh face, Reba McEntire! Now that the season premiere is around the corner, the show has unveiled their new branding for season 24. The Voice Season 24 premieres on Monday, September 26 at 8 p.m. ET.
The Voice Unveils New Branding Featuring Season 24 Coaches
It feels like just yesterday that Niall Horan won his first season on The Voice with 19 year old Gina Miles. In a few weeks, The Voice is set to return to NBC on both Mondays, and Tuesday nights. Ahead of each season, NBC introduces a new set of digital assets, used throughout the new season.
For those who may not know, The Voice changes up the look of their branding every season, to go along with the coaching panel. While Camila Cabello was a coach, the show’s branding was bold red, featuring tropical plants and flowers. The branding of this season (22) featured they key phrase “Go For Bold!”
Now that Reba McEntire has taken the reigns as the show’s newest coach, the branding revolves around her. This season’s branding has a thick country influence, with emphasis on a single acoustic guitar, as well as McEntire’s silver cowboy boots. The season catchphrase is “a wild new ride.”
As seen in the graphic, Season 24 of The Voice features returning coaches, Horan, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani. In place of show veteran Blake Shelton is McEntire, who’s already been confirmed for season 25 alongside Legend, Chance The Rapper, and duo Dan and Shay.
John Legend Confirmed For 2 Seasons After Sitting Season 23 Out
Veteran The Voice coaches Legend and Stefani are both making their returns to the show this fall. For those who may not know, these celebrities last appeared on Season 22, alongside Shelton and Cabello.
After appearing on the series consistently since Season 16, Legend took Season 23 off. It was believed that Legend stepped out because he initially thought the show will not have a new spring season like it did this year. Since he had already committed to other projects, he was unable to return in spring 2023.
“My family’s growing, I have a new album out, I’m going to be doing a little bit of touring, so it’s probably better that I take a break,” Legend said at the time. “I’ll be back on The Voice, just not this coming season.”
During this time Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen welcomed two children. On January 13, Teigen gave birth to their rainbow baby, Esti Maxine Stephens. Six months later, on June 19, the couple welcomed their fourth child, Wren Alexander, via surrogate.
Legend fans will be delighted to see Legend on both Seasons 24 and 25 of The Voice. Due to behind the scenes footage, it’s possible that Legend’s wife will appear on the season once again. Fans can only hope for an appearance like her Season 16 “audition.”
