Sophia who describes herself as a ’’stubborn rebel’’ revealed that she has even named her unibrow ’’Veronica’’. She has previously admitted that she enjoys people’s shocked reactions to her daring unibrow and insisted that negative comments don’t really affect her.

More than just a look, she considers her unibrow as a part of her culture and heritage. In fact, Hadjipanteli who was born in Cyrus, credits her Cypriot genes for her thick eyebrows. By embracing this special trait the star wants to honor her roots.

The model admits that since she was a kid, she always did what felt right for her without worrying about how others perceived her. She noted, ’’I was always on my own in terms of school and growing up. I was very quirky and with all of that I just wanted to push some sort of boundary.’’
Sophia also insists that her decision is not based on a desire to become famous. She explained, ’’I did this before anyone really knew who I was really, and it was nothing to do with getting attention or anything like that.’’
