America’s Got Talent has shared an early release audition from this week’s new show, featuring quick-change artist Solange Kardinaly. The judges were stunned by her magical routine, in which she seamlessly changed outfits in the blink of an eye.

Quick-Change Artist Auditions in AGT Early Release

Solange started her routine, set to “Material Girl” by Madonna, by changing the color of a handbag on stage. She then changed her outfit to match, with just the tip of her baseball cap. The audience cheered as she continued to transform her looks.

At one point, she even made a dress disappear from a clear bag and magically appear on her body. And it wasn’t just fashion — Solange even made money appear out of thin air. After that, she made three small pieces of fabric come together to form a dress.

But arguably the coolest moment of the performance came at the end, when Solange pointed to a dress hanging over her head. It magically turned into confetti, which fell on her and transformed back into the dress.

What Did the Judges Think of the Performance?

Solange earned a standing ovation from the audience and all four judges after her performance. Heidi Klum told Solange that her routine was “really amazing.” Howie Mandel said she was “the best quick-change artist we have ever seen.”

“Sometimes when we have these acts, you have a lady who does the quick-change, and then normally an annoying guy who does nothing,” Simon Cowell said. “And the fact that you were on your own and did it, for me, made it just so much better.”

Solange received four “yes” votes from the judges to move on in the competition. Catch her audition during Tuesday night’s new episode of AGT Season 17, at 8/7c on NBC. The show will also be streaming on Peacock.
