America’s Got Talent is finally back for their highly anticipated season 18. Now that the show has finally premiered, fans have begun meeting some pretty talented new contestants. Gabriel Henrique is among the contestants set to impress this season, here’s everything to know about him.
Meet Brazilian Singer Gabriel Henrique
Gabriel Henrique is an outstanding singer, known ahead of AGT as gabbrielhenrique on TikTok, where he has over 510,000 followers. The singer, hailing from Brazil is popular on the app for singing both original songs and covers. His vocal range is like no other, so he leaves many captivated when he covers popular female artists such as Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.
This singer is so well known on TikTok, that a blog named Teacher Paul reacts, critiqued his vocal technique, calling it “out of this world.” In addition, a duet video featuring Gabriel singing alongside a group of four girls has gained a wide audience, due to his vocals. This video currently has 5.3 million views as of writing.
Gabriel first gained national attention by competing on the Brazilian show Programa do Raul Gil, Raul Gil’s Program (translated to English). This program is reportedly one of the biggest variety shows on Brazilian television, hosted by longtime TV personality, Raul Gil. The family friendly program strives to “afternoon even happier” by sharing new and already established singers.

Aside from Gabriel’s television and TikTok appearances, he’s released music of his own. Gabriel’s debut album, Gabriel dropped in May 2022. The 9 track album was released in collaboration with Rhythm&Truth. According to Rhythm&Truth’s Spotify bio they were founded in 2020 by tech entrepreneur Daniel Anstandig, who’s also a drummer, songwriter, and producer. Anstandig created Rhythm&Truth to “create music that encourages and elevates the spirit of every listener.”
It’s clear that Gabriel is a rising star, even before he takes the AGT stage for the first time. As of writing, he has more than 412,000 subscribers on YouTube, 253,000 followers on Instagram, and 510,000 followers on TikTok.
