America’s Got Talent is officially back! Now that AGT is back for its 19th season on NBC, there’s been a huge twist to the show itself. Instead of 4 or 5 Golden Buzzers, this season will feature 9. Australian dance crew Project 30 is among the recipients of the season.

Who is Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer Brent Street?

After almost winning the season with his Golden Buzzer pick of Murmuration, Howie Mandel has once again hit the Golden Buzzer for a dance group. Here’s everything to know about Brent Street Project 30.

Project 30 is apart of Australian Performing Arts organization Brent Street. According to Brent Street’s website, they have been Australia’s leading performing arts training center for the past 35 years. They offer classes for “pre-schoolers, recreational classes, elite training classes, a Performing Arts High School and four incredible Full Time courses.”

The organization’s method is designed so their programs are suitable for people trying “to develop coordination, explore their creativity, and learn the latest performing art styles.” They also cater to those who are “wanting serious well rounded professional training to pursue a career in performing arts.”

According to Brent Street’s Instagram, Project 30 began with auditions of 200 students, fighting for 30 spots. On March 18, 2024, the group shared that they auditioned for AGT, writing “It’s been a wild ride here in Los Angeles and we couldn’t keep it a secret any longer. #Project30 brought @pariscav’s ‘HOPE’ to the AGT stage and it didn’t disappoint!” on Instagram.

In addition to the group’s fame and prominence in Australia, they have their own series on Amazon Prime. The series, titled Dance Life is a one season unscripted documentary that “tracks the remarkable journey of Brent Street Academy students during their senior year, as they strive to become professional, commercial dancers. From perfectionists to prodigies, underdogs to the entitled, everyone’s journey is unique.”
