Dancing With The Stars pro Witney Carson and the rest of the family failed to seize a mini break last week in Florida. Apparently, her two-year-old son Leo caught a high fever, causing them to rush him to the emergency room.
Witney Carson, Carson McAllister Brought Leo to the Emergency Room
On July 16, Witney Carson posted a series of photos on her Instagram stories. Within the stories, Carson shared that her oldest son, Leo, had to be taken to the emergency room due to a high fever. The series of snaps began of one featuring her son sitting on her husband, Carson McAllister’s lap.
Later, Carson uploaded another clip, showing Leo lying on a hospital bed while drinking from a sippy cup. As seen in the video, the dancer was keeping watch of her firstborn alongside her husband who was carrying their second baby Jet.
“ER visits with two kids… it’s a different kind of challenge. So grateful for my partner in this crazy life,” she wrote.
Carson’s next update revealed a sleeping Leo under a blue blanket. According to the mother of two, Leo caught a virus and just needs rest. Luckily, in the dancing pro’s following stories, the toddler has been feeling and looking better.
“Thanks for all your sweet messages. Leo is eating and fist pumping haha he’s doing good!” she wrote.
Their Family Has Been Enjoying Life in Florida So Far
It’s been weeks since the McAllister family moved from Utah to Florida. Other than Leo’s sudden fever, it seems that the four-member household has been doing pretty great.
Last July 5, Carson shared a slideshow of snaps to mark their first Independence Day in Florida. She and the boys apparently spent their day at the pool, ending it with a “little rain shower.” After a couple of days, the dancing pro then shared photos of their adventure in the Gulf of Mexico.
Back in March, Carson announced that their family would be moving to a new home. This news came before Carson gave birth to her second child.
“As hard as this change might be, I know it’s right for us right now. I’m filled with lots of emotions, but I really am excited to have this adventure with my little family. Im embracing the change, so here we go 2023!! Will continue to give updates here, love you all,” she wrote.
