The Voice has shared an early release Blind Audition from next week’s show featuring singer Andrew Igbokidi. He sang “When the Party’s Over” by Billie Eilish, turning all four coaches’ chairs with his performance.

Andrew Igbokidi Turns Four Chairs on The Voice

Andrew got Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello, and Blake Shelton to turn their chairs almost simultaneously after singing just one line of the song. John Legend followed not long after, making Andrew a four-chair turn with zero blocks from the coaches.

The singer showed off a beautifully emotional voice that clearly wowed the panel. Cabello stood up in her chair as he continued to perform the song. Stefani commented that she’s never heard anyone on the show who “has such a mixture of styles.”

As we’ve come to expect, the coaches got a little competitive when pitching themselves to Andrew. Cabello and Shelton called Legend out for being the last to turn around. Legend responded by saying, “When I make a decision, I make it with conviction.”

Cabello praised the “crazy runs” Andrew added to Eilish’s song. Meanwhile, Shelton admitted he might stick out as the country coach, but he said Andrew is “country too” since he’s from Arkansas.

Which Coach Will Andrew Pick?

Andrew shared that he’s 22 years old and Nigerian. He also told the coaches that he’s participated in musicals in the past, but he’s been applying to medical school for the past year. Andrew said he was accepted to four schools.

“I realized music is just, like, too big a part of me,” Andrew shared of his decision to audition for The Voice. “So I really feel like this is my chance to pursue it.”

The singer listed Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, and Celine Dion as his favorite artists. When Stefani prompted him to include her in the list, he added, “Gwen Stefani, John Legend.” Cabello noticed that he didn’t mention her or Shelton.

We’ll find out which team Andrew chose to join when The Voice Season 22 returns next Monday night at 8/7c on NBC.
